Thabiti Brown, Senior Partner at Shadida Solutions, is an educator, consultant, and leadership coach who believes in the power of growth.  His work over the last 25 years in education, arts, environment, youth development, health, finance, philanthropy, and legal spaces has galvanized a truth: the only constant is change.  Thabiti supports leaders to identify areas of strength and improvement as a means of building to higher heights and achieving self-identified goals.  The work of leading change is difficult.  Leading with the support of someone who couples deep knowledge with humility and curiosity, makes the road less arduous. 

Thabiti has extensive professional experience building sustainable practices and leading for change. He was a founding teacher, principal, and superintendent for a K-12 charter public school in Boston, MA. As a community member invested in growing strength among neighbors, Thabiti is a proud servant leader on several boards, including the American Repertory Theater, Young Man With a Plan, and Duet.  Thabiti is a Barr Fellow, the recipient of a Milken Educator Award, and was named a Ten Outstanding Young Leader by the Boston Chamber of Commerce. A native New Yorker, Thabiti now lives with, and learns from his family in Cambridge, MA.
